Under construction, thank you for your patience.
I was born in Ottawa in 1950, attended and graduated from Ottawa High School in 1968, and graduated from Devry University Chicago in 1970. I married my wife of more than 45 years in 1971 and moved to Naplate in 1974 and began my family. I retired from LOF/Pilkington after more than 40 years of employment.
Shortly after moving to Naplate I joined the Naplate Fire Dept where I was a member in the 70s-90s. I took some time off from the Fire Dept but rejoined in 2017 after the devastating Naplate Tornado.
I originally joined the Naplate Village Board late 1970s after being appointed by then Mayor Art Rick. After serving on the Village Board for 15 years I decided to take a break. In 2017 I was reappointed to the board by the late, James ‘Jocko’ Rick.
After the passing of Jocko in 2018 I was appointed Mayor, and officially elected as Mayor of Naplate in April 2019.
