Rescheduled to Tuesday May 18th the Village of Naplate will have a water shut off to replace a water valve on 22nd Avenue and Center Street starting approximately 8:30 a.m.
The areas impacted will be 2100 & 2200 blocks of Ottawa Avenue, 300 block of 22nd Avenue, 2105 & 2107 Libby, 211 & 213 20th Avenue, 216 & 221 21st Avenue.
However, this potentially could impact the entire West Side of Village from Railroad Avenue to 24th Avenue.
After the water shut off, when water has been restored a precautionary boil order will be in effect for areas impacted by the shut down until further notice.
Precautionary boil order means any water for drinking, cooking or food preparation should be brought to a rolling boil for 3-5 minutes prior to using.

All village offices and both parks (Rick and Vittone) will open effective April 1st.
The Naplate Fire Department is awarded a grant from the Illinois State Fire Marshall in the amount of $24,560. The grant will be used to purchase portable radios, helmets, helmet lights, lanterns and flashlights for its members.

We realize not everyone wants to dine outside, so we have thoughtfully decided to continue curbside pickup this weekend. Our hours are 4-7:30 this Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Thank you for your continued support!
